And the third post of my recent FPW progress covers some French Light infantry which were also completed late in 2023. I’ve now finished all the Generals, Artillery and Light infantry for the army, but there is still a huge number of Line infantry to complete as well as all the Cavalry to paint.

The Chasseurs were quick to paint with a much simpler uniform than the line infantry and no command figures or flags. I was able to paint 72 figures in one batch, which is enough figures for 3 units in They Died for Glory rules and this is the maximum required for any of the scenarios.

The bases are pretty small and each one is 15mm square with 3 figures on it. They all have steel paper on the bottom so I’ll make movement bases out of magnetic sheet to save moving each base individually!
