I’ve been working on some more 6mm Napoleonic for skirmish gaming and I hope have my first game of Songs of Drums and Shakos soon. I’ve played it in larger scales and I’ve always had great games with these rules so I’m looking forward to this in 6mm. I’m also painting up a few buildings which may not be needed for my games but they will come in useful for at some point.
The latest small batch of finished figures is these Austrian Jaegers which are all Baccus figures (excuse the poor photos).

After creating a few army lists for SDS I realised I could use some more figures. Although I have enough for a standard 400pt game, I don’t have enough figures to vary the warbands, so I have added some more Austrians and French figures.

For the French I have based up enough light infantry to have an entire light infantry force with commanders, and I also based some more line infantry, Grenadiers and Sergeant figure. The last figure is actually a Light infantry bugler and I just chopped off the bugle. I’m pretty sure the uniform is different but at this scale it won’t be noticeable.

For the Austrians I wanted to add some more Jaegers and create a Grenzer force. I only have Grenzers in the march attack position so I got a few German line infantry skirmishers and head swapped them with Grenzers. Its probably to first time I have performed head swaps on 6mm figures and although it wasn’t too difficult, I wouldn’t want to do it for whole regiments!
