I’ve tried to not to buy too much wargaming stuff this year while I make a dent in my lead pile, and it has generally gone to plan (apart from the 800 odd 6mm vehicles I brought in a bulk lot)!
I have most of what I need already for the projects I’m working on but I did place an order with Heroics and Ros, now they finally released their new range of WW2 French figures. And of course I added up some other pieces to fill gaps in my armies and a few bits I didn’t know I needed.

The main reason for the order was to finish some WW2 armies off. In my order there was 150 French WW2 figures, mostly gun crew, officers, support weapons and other specialists and its amazing how quickly it adds up. I will mix these in with the GHQ figures I already have, they are a little shorter and stockier, but I don’t see a big problem.
Also I received some WW2 British figures with a mix of 8th Army and late war NWE figures (primarily gun crews). The 8th Army figures will fill the gaps in my desert army and is mostly support weapons, officers and more gun crew!
As well as 260 figures, I brought some early, desert and late war British vehicles along with a handful of French models. The British is a mix of newer sculpts with a few older truck models. Also I got some Mk1 A13s to replace my 1940 British models but I thought it was a newer sculpt, but it wasn’t and the quality is not great compared to the newer models.

Also I picked up some aircraft for Iran Iraq wars (Mig-23 Floggers, Su-17 Fitters and Northrop F-5 Tigers) and 1940 British Fairey Battles. They are all great models and the Su-17 is a new release and the sculpting is amazing. It come with holes for ordinance and I ordered 2 packs of the Soviet aircraft ordnance pack ACC023 which has the following
4 x 250Kg bombs
4 x SPPU-22 gun pod
4 x 50Kg bombs
4 x drop tanks
4 x S-5 UB rocket pod
4 x small bomb set(3)
4 x Air-Air missile
4 x Air-Air missile

The final part was more accessories with vehicle stowage and barrels, and some Napoleonic pontoons for a new project.
