I’ve been working though rebasing my Dark Ages Vikings and Anglo-Saxons, and like most things, they took longer than I expected.

I’ve rebased my DBA figures that I painted onto 20mm square bases and I have to say, I really like the look. I crammed quite a few figures on each base so that means I will have to paint more to finish the armies off. Just after I thought they were finished, but I do really like the look, and I think lots of smaller bases is the way to go for 6mm. The smaller bases means I can use a smaller table and still field plenty of units, and they can be combined into larger units depending on the rules.

I still have quite a few more figures to paint to complete the Saxons and Vikings and then its onto the Normans. I’ve also been looking at the scenarios for Ravenfeast, and rivers and streams are needed. For reasons unknown to me I don’t have any 6mm scaled rivers and streams so I’ll have to make some!
