The last month has been pretty productive with a lot of batches of figures getting completed and based/varnished. I tend to wait until I have finished a few things before I varnish or base, so these posts have all come closely together, but this is really a few months work here. I must try to space it out a bit more in the future!
This latest lot of FPW cavalry is a mix of rebasing and newly painted figures, all Baccus 6mm figures.

The newly painted figures are 5 FPW Prussian cavalry units – 2 Hussar and 3 Uhlan. I may not need that many as cavalry were not very prominent on the FPW battlefield, but I had the figures, so I painted them!
The Hussars had a wide variety of uniform in this period and are still very colourful, while the Uhlans are distinguished by the cuff, collar and saddle edging colours.

This is my new style of basing with 12 figures per unit and 3 figure per base for They Died for Glory rule, converted to cm sized bases and movement. I was not sure how it would look but I’m very pleased how they came out.
Also I rebased the FPW Bavarian cavalry and the other Prussian light cavalry. Again it probably too many units but I painted what I had. They are all Baccus figures, and Baccus come in packs of 45 figures for cavalry, so I can get 3 units out of each pack.
